Tar-burr

I reckon I won't be

going back to Tar-burr,

back to the rednecks and 

hillbillies,

back to old money,

old ideas,

old places,

old people,

who have  kept

the community

from growing,

from advancing forward.

They say that

at one time,

it had good schools,

industry,

but then things shifted.

It has now become the town

where no one gets off.
