Diving bell or shell?
A piano
stripped apart
re-assembled
with bent wood
becomes Nautilus.
Reaching for the deepest ocean
capturing our emotion,
neither Disney nor Dali
could have imagined it,
nor fairy tale, folktale, nor fantasy,
only the creator,
the artist,
here at the Nasher's new exhibit.
