In preparation for an up-coming trip to Boston to visit my son, I'm reading A City So Grand by Stephen Puleo. In it, he tackles some myths concerning Paul Revere. For example, Revere didn't ride solo, but was one of dozens of riders that night. He didn't merely receive lantern signals from the Old North Church, he helped send them as well. He did not row alone across the Charles River, but was transported by others. And finally, he never made it to Concord, but was captured by the British in Lincoln.
